Im one who gives things chances ove rand over again. Ive tried Vista, Ive tried Ubuntu and nothing runs like XP. If Micosoft would make Vista user friendly and work more like XP people wouldnt mind switching over.

SP3 has been sitting in my tray, under the yellow shield for over a month waiting to be downloaded and installed. Due to the many complaints, i have hesitated to install it. coastie65

Seriously you don't need it, they still make updates for sp2 and what updates you do get in sp3 are minimal at best. I found xp sp2 ran better then xp sp3 myself. Also a lot of applications arent sp3 compatible.

Sadly, you're probably right. I've enjoyed the times I've spent up there ( Nova Scotia & Newfoundland). The weather may be cooler, but the people are warm and friendly. coastie65

You made some excellent points there. Thanks for the good advice!

Good luck to you also!
