I have Windows XP Pro with Internet Explorer 7.0.5130.11 installed. When using Windows Live Hotmail and access NEW to print email, I get the following text in the message window that I have to delete each time I do this.

<html>

How do I get rid of this annoying script.

I use a free utility "PureText" which strips extraneous characters from the Windows clipboard. When run, PureText places an icon "PT" on the taskbar. Just highlight a section of (or entire) webpage and click Copy, putting your selection in the clipboard. Click the PT on your taskbar. I usually paste the result in a Word document. With photos, graphics, and formatting removed, the resulting document is much less to print. (You can always edit the result before printing.) The only downside: I feel compelled to format the result "nicely" but that's my own compulsion.
