Re: Unlocking (my) mobile phones

The free sites you list don't seem to unlock Motorolas - or did I miss one?

I do have the unlock code for my AT&T prepaid Motorola GSM camera phone but unsuccessful in using that unlock code to unlock the phone.

DUH!: Do I have to use another carrier's SIM card? Suggestions please.

Thank you.

Hey Samantha2. It can be hit-or-miss with individual phones, since there are several variables involved. I unlocked a Moto handset by connecting a USB cable and using a paid utility from gsmliberty.net. If you can't get a free site to work, that might be your next best option.
The SIM card doesn't relate at this point. You should try the unlock without a SIM installed. After it's unlocked, then you can use any active SIM to make calls.
Good luck.
