I got my iPhone on day 1 and I love it. Not a single problem. I guess I am just plain lucky considering so many are having so many problems. It has been smooth sailing all the way.

I got my iPhone 3G the day it officially went on sales in the US. since then I've had some minor problems but none of them made me regret about buying it. iPhone is a simply my personal lovemark and I wouldn't change it for any other device. I'm saying device cause iPhone is more than just a cell phone, it's my music provider and internet connector.
BTW, you can win a free a iPhone 3G on Pikaba.com now: http://www.pikaba.co...estRules.aspx?m

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE UNTIL YOU SEE MY YouTube VIDEO! Type in "RoyFromTexas" and watch.
AT&T WILL NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND. They say "send it back to Apple (good luck) Apple won't even talk to you and they are impossible to contact about this.
My wife and I bought two iPhones on 10-14-08. Hers works OK except the battery (in the stand-by mode) will die in 6 hours and the phone turns itself off.
My problem, NO BARS, can best be seen and described on my YouTube video. Type in my moniker, RoyFromTexas and look for my video entitled "NO BARS IN TEXAS."
I live a little over a mile from the cell phone tower, and my iPhone shows "NO SERVICE." An AT&T phone rep in Lubbock, Texas told me "You live in a "fringe-area, I'm sorry, there isn't ANYTHING I can do for you because you are out-of-area." I've had service with them (previously Cingular) for more than 6 years, GIVE ME A BREAK!
NO BARS IN TEXAS by RoyFromTexas on YouTube.

I bought the I-Phone this past summer, I love it. Their were some issues, like internet, dropped calls etc.. I went to the apple store got the appointment , wasn't a long wait. Anyway expalined my problems, the rep hooked up to their computer and ran test, it showed all the issues. They replaced my old I phone with a new one. It works great. Setting up the e mail was a pinch. Type your Email address, input password and what ever protocal it uses. Done. My battery life is lik any other phone I have had. Now it works great.
