Does it every stop? How to stay secure online? It seems it's a loosing battle. But, you all sure help by keeping us informed. At least with experts informing us we know what we are up against. (at least partially; who knows what the
'black bag', gov and otherwise, boys are up to now days?)
I also wanted to compliment Erik Larkin on his short but pithy article on 'When To Worry About Security Holes' in the Oct.'08 issue. I'm waiting for it to appear online so I can email Mom a copy.
With both an iMac and PC it still feels as though I am constantly watched online. Just paranoid? Probably not.
I wonder if this new flaw is what is being used to get to my computers innards and hence my data and completely wipe away any illusion of privacy?
I do read PC World from cover to cover each month and consider it the best PC mag on the market. Good writers and informative articles.
