I'm kinda confused. What law exactly is the author talking about?

For a funny story this is not bad. The author may be pulling my leg or there is a possibility the he is serious. I am a bit unsure. It closely matches my thoughts for handling unsolicited telephone calls.

I get the title...
its just that, how many emails do you get a day that you could do this to? and what happens if someone, instead of sending you a check, sends someone to get you instead (and not for a party or anything)?
nice idea though

It is a very weird explanation, sometimes people recieved mail that goes directly to the junk mail because the receiver does not recognize the address or the subject, so when that happens what?
