One use I could see with that is try-before-you-buy gaming. I do the same thing with anime: I download a torrent, watch the anime, and if I like it I buy it. DS Download spots be damned.

Great article, Darren.

I've had an R4 for about 8 months now. I use it for convenience -- why carry 10 different tiny cartridge games that are easy to lose when you can carry one (the R4, that contains all the same games) and keep it in your DS? I still buy all the best DS games that I play for more than a minute. If Nintendo provided an easy and convenient way to store all games on the DS, I wouldn't use an R4.
