I don't know if you went through the specification, but it has 16GB hard drive. Yes Solid drive is perfect solution, but 16GB is too little even for XP. For about the same price +-$25 there are MSI and Acer with 120GB and same other specification.

You're talking about the inspiron 9. the 12 has chosen to go hard drive and leave the SSD drives for the 9
