Google Considers Preinstalling Chrome On New PCs

Personally, I don't like the idea of a web browser that automatically records what I do and sends it to Google (I don't trust them at all). While Google may have the best search engine (though I never need to use it), it's definitely one of the worst consumer-protecting companies, ever.
I love Firefox, and I'm waiting for the day the new TraceMonkey feature comes out.

If accomplished, putting Chrome on new PCs will provide millions of human-hours' worth of entertainment as people praise, protest, welcome, denigrate, curse, malign, celebrate, and wonder in blogs and forums throughout the online world. There may even be poems.

mrwarrenzhang,
I don't like Google's privacy protection either. I'd never use any device of Google's unless I were willing that every one in the world should see what I'm doing. That's why I use CustomizeGoogle, a Firefox addon which disables the Google cookie, keeps anything from getting sent to Google analytics, and disables Google advertisements. If it weren't for this addon I wouldn't use the Google search engine at all.
