Hmmm... people spent over $1 B on Black Friday? That's a shocker with the economy the way it is.

From what I heard, they set a record for "Black Friday" sales. Go figure. I didn't spend a dime......................yet. The VA even deposited my check early apparantly. I was reconciling my check book and called to get the balance yesterday. According to the bank, I had $1031 more than I was showing in my register. I had an outstanding check that I knew about and that left the amount of my monthly check, so I am assuming it was deposited early instead of on the 1st. I'll see what "Cyber Monday" brings.

I'm having to postpone my Christmas shopping. Although Bush signed the second unemployment extension a week and a half ago, the people at the state level still haven't received any word on when they might be doling it out.
(My first extension ran out almost a month ago)
