Thanks for linking to our forum comments on the ZuneGate story.
We would love to claim him as a Zune owner, but looks we'll have to settle for claiming his as an occasional 'Zune user'.

I'd be embarrassed if Obama endorsed something that I liked. I sure hope that nobody voted one way or another based on what mp3 player he uses. I wouldn't be surprised.

Must be a real slow news day! Hmm... I wonder if Obama wears Hanes or Fruit of the Loom... lol

Agreed, total waste of broadband. Story belongs to "PCW E!" section.

Geez, who cares? Does it matter wether I listen to Mozart on my iPod or my Zune? It's as if everyone tried to live exactly like the president: same car, same suit... Stupid. If he was doing something like using GNU/Linux to support the FSF, that would be something entirely different, as it is a cause and not just a brand name. If his car didn't use gas, that would be something different. But a car from BMW and a car from Ford aren't much different from each other than their looks.

WOW - collosal waste on so many fronts. I'm embarrassed that I read it, and now to comment, but wanted PCW to know that I don't CARE what the President's personal tastes are, that doesn't change his qualifications or ability to perform his sworn duty. I care if he does the best possible job.

Exactly. It's a shame the process usually gives us the least offensive, rather than the most qualified/best suited, slate of choices.
