Good article. I got Beowulf New for the PS3 for $20. I think that was a pretty good deal so far, I can only take frustration and aggravation in small doses, so haven't gone too far. There are some good $20 games out there I guess. coastie65

if you look at the budget section for the pc theres hundreds of quality titles, new games for me are too short, with this thing about moving to 'episodic gameplay' (just a way to make more money out of less content). so get down the bargain bins!

I agree, it seems as though they load in more "Cut Scenes" than game these days, which accomplishes nothing but interrupting the flow of the game. If you look, you can find some good games at bargain prices. I also check out GameStop on a regular basis, for some good used stuff.

Notice how many of these are red-neck games. Obviously people are buying them... which just saddens me.
As for cut-scenes, they're perfectly fine when they're not implemented like in MGS4. They don't interrupt the flow of the game when they're well done. As far as I'm concerned, they're helping to elevate games to the level of art they deserve to be (and don't get credit for).
