You can get other programs to run windows programs, wine, crossover etc there are tutorials and stuff on how to get Photoshop working in Ubuntu. I wouldn't be surprised if you poked around and found other stuff that works as well. Just takes some time and configuring. Of course everything won't work it is a different operating system, however more things will work then you might think.
