Value-priced Blu-ray Disc Players Gain Net Connections

Give me a break. There's more money in the players in the media so the move is being forced. The format isn't data-intensive enough for actual backup, and although I haven't bothered to research I'd bet it's the same sort of write process as a DVD; no R/W.

I actually did some research on the Panasonic bd35k. It can play not only R/W but also RAM.
I use an antennae so I need the converter which means I cannot program a VCR. I am looking into buying a DVD recorder and I like the Panasonic ez48vk so I confirmed with Panasonic that I can tape a show on a RAM disc and watch it on the Blue Ray. (Of couse it will not be HD.)
