"People may want to compare the two campaigns, but they target different audiences with different messages and completely different approaches,"
Nobody really knows what the message or target of the first set of adds were.
Just unfunny and uninformative.
These new adds are almost as bad.
Full of buzz words and gibberish.
I wish MS would stop trying to make cutesy adds and concentrate more on their OS and software.

I am gobsmacked! $300 million for the lame-o Gates-Seinfeld ads? I wonder how much for the equally stupid and pointless "Mojave" Experiment ads? They truly have too much money to throw around. What would that much investment have done to improve the bloated, sluggish, and buggy Vista? The Mac ads are right on the mark with MS putting piles of cash into ads and nothing into improving the product. I just have three words for all you who have become disgusted with Micro$tract: Fedora, Ubuntu, Linux Mint; all better than Vista, XP, 2000, etc. and free, free as in free beer, free as in freedom and I might add much cheaper to own.
