My dear friend TechieXP, I fully understand and admire your devotions. And appreciate your feedback. But as an advice to all, we should simply ignore trolls; I know better, yet simply am much more congenial after my first cup of coffee :) Fighting rush hour traffic to work didn't help my mental state either.

Trolls are not worth the trouble. That's all they want. To elicit an emotional response, and disrupt mature and rational discussions.

They are just troublemakers, and we can depend on our excellent and diligent moderators to nip in the bud so to speak.

Again, I am deeply touched by your show of support, and please know that I would do the same.

I would advise all, to the greater good of our wonderful community, we simply should ignore all trolls and their juvenile attempts at stirring troubles.

Thank you.

Back on topic: Where's this Conficker/Downadup worm??? Hmmm??? A complete non-issue, for those prepared. Simple eh?

PS: Since this is April 1st, let's have fun! That's how we should behave regarding trolls...

I never post before I get my coffee. :D Gives me time to get collected as it were. As far as rush hour traffic, I don't encounter much between my bedroom and the livingroom where the computer is. :D I'm surprised that no one has yet started an April Fool's Day thread in the general topics area. No worms to be found on this end. As I said, probably much ado about nothing.

TO : Artzy65, boozip,garyoa1 , Your posts have been removed for being off topic. There have been warnings posted about that. You either didn't read them or chose to ignore them. This is a final warning: you may post to comment on the discussion topic ; IF YOU PERSIST IN IGNORING THIS AND CONTINUING WITH THE MAC vs PC THING, YOU CAN BE and MAY POSSIBLY BE BANNED FROM THE FORUM. coastie65

Buy a Mac pay twice as much for the computer and software, if you can find any to run. And repair good luck finding a repair facility. Oh, and the security issues that remain un-patched well... for years. YA! buy a Mac and while you are at it stop at the local VW dealership and pick on up to.

Hey WinTARD, you making facts up as you go along? Mac doesn't have 2% of the market. In Dec 2007 it was 7.31% and in Dec 2008 it was 9.63%

bigpoppa, This is off topic as this topic has nothing to do with Mac. There has been numerous warnings posted about continuing along this line and I would suggest you go back up and review them. coastie65

You're gonna have to do some enforcement. And plainly put: I am tired of the entire OS/machine difference with reference to good/better/best etc. Sure, if there's an article about it; in this case, you're entirely right. Please; do the Dirty Harry thing.

If Mac was the leading OS they would be designing viruses specifically to that. Your statement seems to suggest that Macintosh is invulnerable to any type of viruses, which is of course, ridiculous and dangerous to believe.
