I came to this article wondering what price a bargain color laser printer was going for. I finished the article wondering the same thing. I did find out what the author considers to be a bargain inkjet printer though.

Yeah I wondered the same thing. Plus, $999 for an HDTV a bargain?? I can get a 32" one from the same mfgr. for $400. The other bargains are OK but it depends who you ask - in this economy you can't afford to spend any more than you have to.

The Pentax A40 not a very good camera. It has an abismal wide angle. Anyone who buys a camera should look for decent wide angle. It's more important than the zoom. Try taking a picture of a group of friends without it. ...Or a picture of a mountain or a beautiful building.

The best cameras are Canon's. I've had four, ending up with the G9. Great pictures, never a problem.

I picked up this color laser printer for $250 at Costco last year, and also for twelve of my close friends... The greatest printer I ever used at any price.

This seems to happen in all the PCW bargain bulletins. I am convinced that they shop in all the wrong places.

Where do they get their prices from. Needed a budget replacement camera for a budget price and tried to find that Pentax Optio A40. $226 is the cheapest price I have found it for so far and that's far away from the $120 price they gave in the article and from what I could find. Anyone know where it is for that price? Any info would be appreciated.
