Apple Netbook: A Folding iPhone?

My idea was to have a folding iPhone where each side is the size of the current iPhone. I posted a comment (comment 15) on a previous article titled "The Ultimate Laptop to Replace a Desktop" at http://forums.pcworl...art=15&tstart=0
which said:
For an ultra-portable laptop, think of two iPhones side-by-side, which fold so the height and width would still be the same as the current iPhone, but it would be twice as thick. I would add to that to make it a little wider. Let's make it 4.5" tall and 3" wide folded. Unfolded that would give you almost 6" width! You would still be able to carry it on your belt, the keyboard would still be the software keyboard, and it would give you a little more than twice the screen-size you have with the current iPhones!! What do you guys think?

I had an idea like this awhile back when I saw an article (on this site maybe?) about future tech that included a keyboard that was just a touchscreen.
It's nice to see I' m not alone.
I would agree that it would make a big splash; and Apple would be the kind of company to make such a device.
So long as its possible to make typing on a virtual keyboard feels as natural as the buttoned one i'm on now. Problems such as, not being able to tell if you've hit the correct button since you can't feel where each one is, along with having no haptic feedback to tell you when a key is pressed.
But if those arn't problems, i would love to see this idea come to life!
