Wow, finally, PC World writes an article that is not fawning and glowing about something that GOOGLE made! I can't believe my eyes. I'm going to note this moment in history because it is unlikely to happen again.
PC World must be a division of Google, and this must be a rogue reporter or one that realizes how morally corrupt Google really is.
Seriously, folks, this guy is right on -- Gmail had one good day, the day it broke the mold by offering huge amounts of storage. The rest of the features have been me-to for the most part, and we're now seeing the tiniest little random feature get coverage because, well, Google still manages to be the media attention's equivalent of a bad heroin habit.
Please, stop writing about one company so much, and start looking at the hundreds of other innovative companies out there.

don't know what all of the uproar is about. Sure, the feature seems to be more of a concept than a really useful program, but c'mon! it's a labs feature! It's disabled by default and you have the option of enabling if you like it after reading the description.
Gmail was and still is the leading front in terms of free webmail services. Until another competitor takes the lead, gmail will continue to get its well-deserved media coverage.
