In any browser: ctrl-f It opens the "find in this page" dialog (whatever it might be called in your browser.)

On Linux: ctrl-alt-backspace. Reloads the desktop environment without "killing" anything per-se. Very important in older Linux distros, especially RHEL 2 thru 4, where earlier KDE revs had a tendency to hang.

My favorite shortcut is WinTab BUT not with the scroll 3D thing but with a 3rd party app called "Switcher". It uses an Exposé type interface. Just remember to re-route the shortcut to WinTab. :)
