Google Disables Uploads, Comments on YouTube Korea

Sometimes the Korean ss number is to make sure the games made for Koreans stay in Korea.
If something illegal happens like the bloody videos the Mexican cartels have been posting on youtube they are removed and law enforcement is notified. I don't see what the difference of actually proving who you are is. I rather like the idea that you have to prove who you are for several reason. It will cut down on sex offenders registering fake accounts on social networking sites and sites for children. Online stalkers, harassment and other things will be taken down a notch and people will be responsible for what they post. Most people wouldn't go up and say the things to a person face to face when they feel that they have the anonymity of the internet but we have learned that people go over the line and serious consequences follow. You can't print, say, or do something to someone without legal consequences whats the difference if you say it online.
As far as Youtube and Korea goes the will probably just replace it with something else and they will get youtube's business in Korea. Its Korean law, so there's not much that Youtube is going to really be able to do about it. If you contacted the site about an offending person they should be able to give you their information and be held responsible. I don't think that they need to have their real name posted along with their things if they want to have a username, but I still think its a good idea to be connected.
