There's still one huge problem with the Sony PSP Go, and that's the word "Sony." When Sony BMG put rootkit viruses on consumer audio CDs, they convinced me, a lifelong Sony customer (I "fell in love" with Sony electronics in the early Seventies), to ban every Sony product from my home and my life forever. Even at work, our IT manager won't allow Sony cameras, Sony laptops, or anything else made by Sony in our workplace; Sony makes Microsfot look ethical by comparison, and since the only leverage I have is to boycott Sony, that's what I (and my friends, and my family) am doing - forever.

Sony makes some wonderful equipment. They just can't seem to get their act together when it comes to other things. Like online --- games, music, video (although they are finally making some headway here.).
The PSP is another one of those things. I have had a PSP for several years now... got it right after they came out. Such a nice looking device, nice screen, wifi, etc. Great for watching a movie... except who in their right mind would pay as much or more for a UMD movie when you can get a full DVD for less. Price them at say $5, and they would of sold millions of them.
But here again, penny wise and pound foolish. I was all stoked about the rumored PSP2. Not only was it a dang good looking device (even if just vaporware), but it finally had the second analog stick. Finally! Some hope that a decent game could come out for it (Resistance:Retribution is a
darn good attempt). Something that I would buy (I have to say my PSP is very under-utilized and I have bought very few games for it). But not this "PSP GO!" thing. I won't buy another one unless it has a second stick, period.
Sony. They just don't get it.

I totally agree. SONY is dead to me after destroying my PC with SECUROM and then accusing me of being a pirate when trying to get help.

BOYCOTT SONY INTO HELL!

I'm not going to boycott sony because as much as all of you want to think it, Microsoft is the worst of them all at screwing up everything that comes through their office. Open source is the way to go.
Sony isn't out of the dark yet however, Where the hell is the support that they were showing for it. I remember with GT5, they were throwing the PSP out there like it was a PS3 controller...? Where did that idea go.
To another point, at least the PS3 has free dlc, where the XBox360 doesn't. You also don't get a red ring of death from leaving the console on. In comparison, the only thing that Sony failed on with the PS3 was the launch titles. Microsoft didn't have that problem, but what's the use if you have a broken console (which I have had). I have the 360, and the PS3, not to mention a PSP, and out of all of them, the PS3 wins hands down by hardware standards and life of a console.
The same people whining about Sony are the same ones that have been saying HD DVD was going to win the format war... look what happened there.
