Fairly close to my own rig!
Intel C2Q 9450 @3.66ghz
4GB DDR2 Corsair XMS2 @950Mhz ( I think that is right, eh give or take 10Mhz)
3 hard drives, 2 160 boot drives 1 500Gb drives (dual boot, and a storage)
2x EVGA Nvidia 8800GT 512MB SLI ( I love these cards)
EVGA Nvidia 750i FTW mobo (wish I had more sata ports, but still a SOLID mobo)
Creative Audigy 2 (had an X-fi but Linux didn't like it - DAMN YOU CREATIVE!)
PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750 ( I always mention a PSU because a crap one CAN kill a system... and I just happen to like this one)
Antec 1200 case...

and aside from Crysis (name me a rig that can) I can push every game I own to the max res, max quality, and never miss a beat! 2048x1536 goodness ;)

Hey Waldojim, That rig ought handle Crysis pretty darned well. Judging by those specs, you should pretty near be able to max out Crysis. You are also dead on point regarding the PSU. As for the consoles, I enjoy my PS2 & 3, but also enjoy gaming on here as well. As for a new breed of consoles, I don't really see the need for them at this point. You have motion sensitive control with the Dual shock 3 Controller for the PS3 and you can use the Playstation eye to pick up full body movement although neither has been exploited all that much ( Too expensive to develope). coastie

Well my rig can pull off 22-36fps in crysis without AA and at mostly High settings (been awhile since I've done testing) and at full on I'd get about 7fps...I'd imagine his rig could pull off a bit more lol. (I need to buy a 4890 and xfire, it'd sure help with crysis). Difference between high and very high is extremely minimal unless you're trying to look for it though, so it's not pertinent that I get another GPU.

Hey bg, I tried the Demo in this thing with an 8600GT card in here. I ran it on high with the AA turned off and it did pretty good, which was a surprise, as I didn't quite expect the performance to be that good.
