@WinTard.
I do have 18 cents but I don't want to spend it.
A bad programmer can write a function more then 1 line.
A good programmer can write the same function under 1 line.
Why would I want to spend my hard earned 18 cents on some BLOATED SOFTWARES when I can donate it to someone else. ]:)
Then we are agreeing!
Why bitch and complain about anything, about something you are not interested in? ]:)
You're obviously not considering all these millions or billions of people using Windows wrong, stupid, idiots, but like you, they made the choice of adopting a tool that suits their purpose? Like I did? I also choose Linux you know?
So what are we discussing then?
Both you and I agree that eighteen cents a day is nothing... A simple matter of personal choice? Is it a free world? Where people can freely choose whatever without being ridiculed by small-minded people about their choices?
Did you ever see me criticize Linux, or Apple? I may have criticized bashers of Windows, but that's about it? ;)
Then we are on the same side, as Linux fellow supporters? We just diverge on our perspective of Windows? And that is perfectly allright!
Is there a need to dump on, crap all over, insult, and make others feel bad about their choices? Is that kind? Constructive? Civil? Or is it mean?
I simply would appreciate you
not bashing Windows or Microsoft, yet adding nothing constructive to an ongoing discussion, between people attempting to exchange viewpoints, ideas, in a sincere, respectful, and grown-up intelligent discussion?
If you have nothing solid to add to the discussion,
other than making noise, that Linux exists, which is completely out of topic in any Windows only specific thread, perhaps you could show some consideration towards others and their interests, who are actively discussing the topic at hand?
Oh, and what are you trying to accomplish? If it is to invite people to Linux, that is better done through making people feeling good about their choices, then propose a better alternative, I suppose? Tear down the walls of misunderstanding? Through kindness and emphaty?
Be well! :)
