If they attack one giant they should have to attack them all which means that if Microsoft should lose I would expect them to couter sue Apple and many Linux distros which come with bundled browsers. I think the EU is starting to reflect the same bias that was shown in the Pirate Bay case. The EU seems to have it out only for Microsoft and not for the other OS makers which also violate the antitrust laws. I still see nothing that the EU has done which is helpful.

I guess some people used their browser without knowing how it really work...An OS is not the vehicle to travel on the internet and people used various roads.Without mention on the business along the pass and you understand why Microsoft want his own highway...
