I have been using Shadowprotect for over a year now, and love it. When reading this, the reviewer said that the full version could not be downloaded. I would like to correct that, as when I bought Shadowprotect, I got an email with a link to download the CD image (an ISO file) and used Roxio to burn that CD image back on a real CD. The process was easy and quick.
The interface is friendly and easy to use, which made setting up my first backup job a SNAP! I run it on my desktop computer and backup to a USB drive that I bought, I was worried about my USB drive filling up, but Shadowprotect provides a retention policy that will kick out older backups and only keep the newer ones.
The bootable CD is just as easy to use as well. My computer got hit with a virus from a downloaded file, and I was able to restore my system to a state before I had the virus. Talk about your huge undo button.
I will never run another computer without Shadowprotect protecting computer.
Thanks,
Steve.
