I instituted a preview version a few weeks ago and found it to be exactly as advertised.
Firefox 3.5 RC2: A Quick First Look

Just updated to 3.5 and when starting firefox I get a blank page although I have set a home page in the options. When I click the "home" icon, though, then the home page opens.
Also, there is no longer a url appearing in the address bar.
So, I find 3.5 faster, but inaccurate. Are these bugs or are there mysterious settings I need to find. Some links which should open in new tabs open new pages. Very weird, Firefox has been so user-friendly until now.

"Hmm it seems Firefox is just getting the features coined by other browsers already, such as IE's InPrivate Browsing and Chrome's Moveable Tabs."
IE did not have Tabs at all before 7. It did not have InPrivate before Chrome had Incognito. Your logic here is staggeringly flawed.
"Maybe if Mozilla did something fantastic and fresh I would consider trying firefox."
That would be Ad Block Plus and No Script. The amazing variety of addons for FF is impressive enough, but those two alone make FF vastly superior to any other browser. In fact, they are the only thing holding me back from a switch to Chrome, which is ridiculously fast. Of course, no Google product will ever actively support ad blocking so I may bite the bullet one day.

Wish there had been more coordination with other software providers! Only AFTER installation did I learn that Norton Internet Security would not work with it and thus the Norton Tool Bar with my password safe would not install. Solution from Norton? Uninstall 3.5 and reinstall 3.0!

I use a LOT of add-ons in FF, so I expect to wait until those I need and use all the time have been upgraded to work in 3.5. I have yet to find any severe web functionality issues (unlike IE 8) or security vulnerabilities (like in Safari).
I haven't tried Chrome or Opera for the simple fact that they offer nothing more than what I have now, and without the same add-ons, considerably less than I need.
Everyone has their preferences in browser. What I find arrogant are those who say theirs is the best for everyone else. Browsers are programs - not religions.

I have downloaded Firefox 3.5 Mozilla and I don't like that Firefox has disabled the copy and paste. I have tried to right click with my mouse to copy and then to paste will not happen when using Firefox 3.5. I even tried the edit copy and paste work for awhile but does not work at all. Does anyone have any suggestions to this? Firefox when I X out of and then try to bring up another web page, I get this error message Firefox is already running shut down your computer, and restart. This is one big hassle of a bug. This would happen in the old version, and now it is happening in the newer one. I like Firefox especially for playing games at pogo, but when I am in facebook, freezing of Firefox happens all of the time. so I have to go back to using Internet Explorer 7.0, will not download 8. Hope someone out there has some suggestions. Thanks

My FF3.5/WinXPPro-SP3 allows cut-and-paste just fine. I know that this comment doesn't help you debug your problem but I didn't want anyone to get the wrong impression that this is a problem in FF3.5. I have been using FF for many years and it's my favorite browser primarily due to all the add-ons I have access to.

If FF 3.5 crashes on you regularly, then try reinstalling it as I use it continuously in XP Pro and it does not lock up or crash AT ALL! and many of the addons will work as the developer has had time to change programming and it may be hit or miss as to the ones you have working.
