Sorry for the person who got shot. But...
This is awesome! I mean, what was he trying to steal? Couldn't be money, unless he was a complete moron and thought people paid in cash for Macs. So, what could he be stealing? Macs? You're going to rob a store, at gunpoint, to steal abunch of expensive computers? Seriously? Wtf? Was he running out the back of the store with 100lbs worth of MacBooks? lol

You must be running low on material to write about because this has nothing to do with anything that a magazine for PCs and electronics should be about. Effects on Apple directly or their stocks? No...I thought not.

Next I'll see an article about Best Buy in Washington D.C. with a disgruntled worker who smashed a plasma TV before quiting.

I don't think this is considered running low on material, since Apple is considered a computer company. Now if this story had something to do with a Apple (Fruit) Store than it would be low on material, but this is about an Apple (Computer) Store so I think this article is worthwhile for a magazine for PCs and electronics.

Really? Then there should be thousands of articles posted here about how Best Buys are being robbed. This has a minimal effect on technology in general.

Stores get robbed all of the time, but it's fairly rare for an Apple store to have a shooting.

In short, a dumb mofo who didn't know that all Apple Stores don't have POS systems (aka a cash register). It's either credit or debit cards only.

You're right, I'm not saying it's not a rare thing; I'm saying that this occurrence has no effect on technology, so why exactly is it here?

(Michael Jackson had the exception: his death caused websites to crash, which is a legitimate reason to post an article...although the 15/20 articles on here the day after were about MJ which was slightly ridiculous).
