Well said. Two comments: I found the video quality to be excellent and crisp. Of course, not as good as my Sony $700 camcorder, but worth saving my important memories - and this camcorder is always with me, not in the closet. Second, the camcorder that I purchased had a 2X digital zoom that worked well.

the best gadget i have seen in a long time is a java application called globe dialer that you download onto any mobile and make really cheap international calls from your mobile. www.globedialer.com
