I have been using "JAJAH" VOIP, with the calls costing me $0.025 per minute and if I call someone elso who has "JAJAH", the call is absolutely free. I call S. Korea daily, at no cost to call. Special Equipment? I did not need any; I simply downloaded "JAJAH" and I put a number and country that I want to call, click "call" on my computer screen and my phone rings and tells me to hold while the other parties phone rings. That is right, no charge, no extra equipment, and great sound and connections. Probably won't be free forever, but it is a great horse to be riding at this point in time.David Roesch, a convinced user.

I perfer to use Skype. It's free calls to another Skype user, and you can have conference calls. The amount of people on at once depends on your connection speed, and Skype fgures out how many quality connections your computer/connection can handle for you. Even if you don't have a microphone, you can text message another user. Just right click on thier nick and click on "start chat."Skype also has phones that you can buy that, once plugged into an internet connection, connects directly to Skype's server.http://www.techcentric.org/ has several podcasts that explain how to encrypt your Voip calls, and even get free phone service for incoming and outgoing calls.
