Would someone PLEASE tell me why Bellsouth, the largest telephone in the south can't provide me with a line for use with DSL. I have freinds here in this same town just 3 miles away that have DSL.Same phone company.Do they throw darts at a map of the city or county to choose who gets it and who does not.I can get cable in fact Charter super fast 5MB. But i'ts about $80.00 a month.Even the slowest plan with charter is about $60.00($59.99)a month.Way to much.It takes me three or more hours to do everyday on dialup.The exact same things I can do on DSL in about 23 minutes.I have tried it and did it many times at a friends house.(the one that is just three miles away)Is there anyone out there that can help me.If I go any slower I will stop all together soon.And yes I have called the telephone company at least a hundred times.Really that many times.
