if not mistaken this is the same as Microsoft installing Internet Explorer on all of their OS. the main question is how much will apple be fined ,not only here but in Europe..... So much for Apple superiority....

I doubt that anyone who is familiar with Apple Corp from the Apple ][ days finds this the least bit surprising. They've always been very proprietary, definitely giving off the impression that the Apple belongs to them, and no one else has any right to take any kind of bite from it.

In other words, Apple wants other to believe it IS "the forbidden fruit."

Not really the same. IE is installed with Windows, but you can use whatever you want.

Apple is saying you MUST use iTunes. No exceptions allowed.
