Yes indeed. Can't count how many I've deleted so far

But they show up every couple minutes.. literally!

How do you go about removing these notifications..? I just looked in email notifications and didn't see any options, but I'm in no hurry.

I just got word from our software vendor about how to do this, and I put the steps here: Stop Email Notifications About Blog Trackbacks

Kellie, thanks for the Document. However, following your instructions, I went to the Blog that I've been getting the Trackbacks to, and the boxes were already unchecked.

Here's a Snip of what I found:

I'm still getting the Trackbacks, 3 today so far. So, what's next, Chief?

BTW, THANKS to you and Bill for restoring the pictures. Way to go! You guys are awesomely awesome!

ps: I just went through 3 other of my older Blogs (4 - 5 months ago,) and the same thing applies to them as well.

Which blogs? I turned them off for all of the group blogs (general talk, windows, etc). You will only need to do it for your personal blogs. And it's not per blog post, just per blog.

I just turned them off a couple hours ago, so let's give it some time and if you are still getting emails, we'll try something else.

I went in and turned them off for anyone that still had them turned on, so hopefully this will stop now.

Just dropping by to answer your posts and to say that I haven't had any more Trackbacks since early Monday. I wanted to wait a couple of days to see if there were any more notifications, but they have stopped.

I'm very happy that worked, the message were bugging the heck out of me too!

The forum software was acting up, but my posts (and any others that temporarly vanished) should be back now. I love reading your messages by the way, alway so creative.

The worst of it is over now.

I'm not getting any spam in my emai, had about 8 in my trackbacks but it's a lot better than it was.
