How do i remove the monitor from an IBM Thinkpad 600X laptop?

i need to replace the monitor on an IBM Thinkpad 600x for a friend. we've already ordered and received the replacemnt, but don't have any instructions on removing the old one. can anybody help? ?:|

I wouldn't recommend anyone but a trained professional doing that job.

Hi Conflict. Lincoln is absolutely right. You should not try to remove that screen on your own. I would advise contacting a certified laptop repair technician in your area. You can also try a company I like to recommend to my clients when they have laptop hardware issues.

800Tech.com is my choice when any of my clients have hardware related laptop problems that I cannot fix. They can fix just about any issue. They are located in Manhattan. Basically, you send them your laptop, they repair it (usual turnaround time is 1-3 business days), and then they send it back. Here is their url:
