FCC Takes First Step Toward Spectrum Re-auction
WHy are we wasting the publics time with this Public Safety Re-Auction. We need to give the deal to Verizon Wireless and get on with it. Check out the following article on Verizon Business monster contract win with HomeLandSecurity. Then combine this with its win (Subcontract) of the Feds planned Nationwide Federal Governments new Wireless Network (using 700Mhz spectrum) for all its Federal Agency offices.
In short they already own the new C Block of 700Mhz, and are planning to deploy a seperate Nationwide 700Mhz network and are under contract to deploy a new IP Core Network for HLS.

See the following article:
"Verizon Business Wins $678.5 million Networx Contract with Dept. of Homeland Security Verizon Business was awarded a contract valued at $678.5 million over 10 years to deploy and manage a secure global IP network linking thousands of U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) sites under a new Networx Universal task order."
