Thanks, guys. I've played with the sprint touch...haven't played with the GSM version, though I do expect to get my hands on the Touch Dual very soon.....wish I could get my hands on a Diamond sooner, though.

A group of programs that added nothing to connectivity, productivity- a lot of nonsense from my perspective- not the goal opf having a smart phone

@Deane: I'm going to have to respectfully, but wholeheartedly, disagree with you. Games and UI tweaks may not be your goal for a smartphone, but who says that you need to stick to strictly business applications just because a phone supports Outlook? There's a huge audience for this -- otherwise, you wouldn't see so many games and other "unproductive" programs out there. Then there's another point: I hope that you weren't expecting to see a laundry list of connectivity software from a column called "Casual Friday" that celebrates relaxing and less work-related activities.

Actually, I agree with Testy, I was havig a particularly bad day and lashed out. My Smartphone is my buddy and I welcome all of things that it can do and I look forward to reviewing new things for my Treo. I am a download junkie addicted to my phone and laptop.

Hi Deane and welcome to the PCWorld Communities. :D

I just purchased a Treo 700p, my first smartphone. I started a Discussion asking for other Treo owners for some opinions. Would you be so kind as to check out the Discussion and add any suggestions you may have?
