20% of U.S. Has Never Sent E-mail
I figured older age would be a factor but what a shame that education plays a big factor to. But it's probably equally important to remember that the web really started to become popular around 1995-1996, and that it's only 10-12 years old in that regard.

I agree, but I reject the concept that age, or education have anything to do with it.

I wasn't brought up in the Computer generation, but refused to let it pass me by. My first computer was a 286 and while I don't have formal training, I could certainly teach the teachers.

That said, I feel sorry for anyone who sees no value with the Internet. One only need buy a product that isn't available locally to see this. Being a building contractor, I've seen exquisite homes decorated exclusively by products procured via the Internet. These home are by far, the nicest and the most unique I've ever seen.

Needless to say, if one thinks the net has no value, one wastes a lot of time on the telephone, the phone book, in line at the bank, and spends a fortune on stamps.

One thing I know for sure, those, including the many grandparents that visit my web site; once on the net, NEVER go back...

But, of course, I'm preaching to the choir here. Those that should read my last post don't even have access. lol
