Is it true that Microsoft Xbox 360 is going have a Blu-ray DVD drive sold separately? I heard it somewhere

Typical Sony crap: Overpriced and underwhelming! For a fraction of the price of a BD player, I bought a media center extender to link my TV to media stored on my network. For the price of a single BD movie, I can get a month of HBO, Showtime, and Starz combined, which I can record on my DVR and capture to my PC, building my own on-demand library. I see no value in BluRay.

Regarding the question about BluRay on the Xbox, Microsoft has said that they have no plans to sell one, but are not against a 3rd party offering.

What about an inexpensive ($125-$200) Blue Ray DVD disc drive and cloning the computer image to your 50"TV monitor with a $15 DVI to HDMI cable and getting your sound from your computer to your AVI receiver with a 10 optical cable as an option?
