Share My Home Outlook Calendar with My Work Computer

Is there some way I can send my home Outlook calendar to my work computer? I don't have a server at either place. I've tried to syc my home calendar to my Pocket PC with the idea I could syc my Pocket PC with my work computer but haven't been able to figure that out.

It would be so nice just to be able to send the calendars back and forth.

Thanks for any and all help..

Does that mean that you are running a POP email account in both places...thus, NOT running an Exchange server at work?

If so, then your available options are:

* Use a mobile device that you sync to both computers. I have done this with my various Palm based devices...but never done it with a PocketPC based device. Thus, I don't know if you can sync a PocketPC with multiple computers or not.

* Copy the Outlook.pst file to a flash drive each time you leave one of the computers and then put that Outlook.pst file in the appropriate place on the other computer prior to starting up Outlook. In theory, this should work, but I have never tried it. And if you are NOT using the same email and folders for email on both computers, then this might not work so well. I have done this when I move from an old computer to new computer (i.e. make a permanent switch).

* The last option is to get a program that will do it...there are a bunch. Just do a Google search...or look at the bottom of the link at the beginning of the next line.

Here is a webpage that gives lists the various options (some of which I listed above).

Re: Share My Home Outlook Calendar with My Work Computer

Some versions back, Outlook was capable of syncing calendars via POP email. But they eliminated that feature, making syncing possible only through their Exchange Server.

But there are third-party options. There's a pretty good program called SynchPST [http://synchpst.com that handles this nicely (or at least it did the last time I tested it, which was late 2006). It costs $40, but you can try it for free.

Also, both Yahoo and Google calendars sync to Outlook, so you can use them to sync between two Outlooks. I tried this out in Yahoo around the same time I tried SynchPST, and liked that one, as well. I haven't tried syncing Outlook with Google yet.
