Game Console Choice Shows Generation Gap
I'm 37 years old, married with 2 kids. We own 2 XBox 360's and a Wii. The 360's get played 5 days a week. The kids were bored with the Wii after 2 weeks. I believe most Wii owners feel burned due to the crazy hype. I don't own a PS3 because i'm not interested in a Blue Ray player and the online gaming is far superior on the 360.

Our Family owns 2 XBox 360's, a Wii, a PS3, 2 PSP'sn and a DS. Our 15 year old son is on the 360 morning til night since school is out and my husband is on his 360 when his online group is playing Call of Duty or Racing cars. The Wii was for me and Zelda but since then no decent games. I think the PS3 is just a dust collector??? I am 57 and my husband is 49.

The numbers originally issued by Nielsen for the PS3 and the 360 in the 27 and over demographic are transposed. It is actually the 360 that is at 52% and the PS3 at 20%. They corrected this on the 6th. The correction just didn't hit this article yet.

I'm a married male, no kids, no X-Box, no Wii, one Playstation2 all packed up. Number of hours playing console games: 0.

Are you SURE it's plugged in?

Unmarried 52 yo male non-parent. No gaming machine at all, nada, zilch. Not even an Atari 2600. If I find a console game title that appeals to me, this may change. Still waiting after 30 years though.

Nelson corrected this. 27 Xbox is 52, PS3 is 20. This story is false. PC WORLD, you need to correct this.

I've sent a note to our news team to correct the article. Thanks for the info.
