PC Data display \ Wallboard \ Notice board - using Sql data - with auto refresh

Hi all,

I am looking to set up a PC, in a service environment, and use the flat screen to display all urgent service jobs, logged in the database by the main application.

I will like to run a SQL job that would collect a list of all urgent jobs and save related details in a table. This table would be the data to be displayed.

I then need a utility that would allow me to built and modify the format of the displayed data. This would be done so that all operators in the helpdesk area could see the list.

The screen would like the screen to refresh every 1-2 minutes.

If data to be displayed exceeded on full screen a auto soft scroll would be great (not critical- could just display most urgent jobs)

No sure were to start on this one and any help or direction, even some correct terminology would be greatly appreciate,

Kind regards from sunny Australia

Hi,

Did you find the software you needed? I am interrested in the availability of a similar tool as we are considering building it. Some of your feedback would be most welcome.
