I hope in our celebrations today that we think of those who made our independance possible. To all the veterans since that day of independance was declared, God Bless you and Thank you for your service to your country. To all those brave men and women who are presently serving our country in the armed forces, here and abroad, we thank you for insuring our freedoms and protecting our gaurantee of freedom. Remember that ALL GAVE SOME, SOME GAVE ALL.

I remember a few things about the american revolution , not much . We had to study a lil bit of that in world history and that was in school around 6 yrs ago. One of the major events was the boston tea party , if i m not wrong. I was bad at history . After school , no more history . :)

LOL Yeah, they dumped all the tea into Boston harbor because of the high taxes the crown was imposing.

Hey Flashorn, I know you guys up there don't have an independence day, but you do have somethiing called Commonweath Day in March, I think, and I was in Halifax Nova Scotia for Victoria Day which seemed like a big deal. There is also Canada Day on the 1st of July. You guys do observe Veteran's Day, although you call it Rememberance Day on 11 Nov. it is the same. coastie
