Hi Keiths. The Discussion to which you have posted your concern is in relation to the news article. I have branched your issue into its own Discussion.

Hi Keiths,

I think that Adobe is one of those universal things that can run on anything. But, it would help if you clarify which app you are asking about.

I believe that most Adobe products are available for both the Mac and Windows, but you have to buy a Mac version for a Mac, or a Windows version for Windows. I don't think any of them work on both operating systems. I'm not sure, but I don't think that there are versions for Linux, or any other operating systems, if that's what you wanted to know.

Re: Can Adobe Applications Run on Anything Other Than Windows
I would like to add to MCBarker's point, which is exactly true. I recently had a client who wanted me to install Photoshop on her Mac. Since I primarily deal with Windows based computers, I initially could not help her. I had to purchase (and then subsequently charge) a version of Photoshop for Macs.

Now, if you are referring to Linux, you may want to refer to this Adobe Search Result Page from the Adobe website.
