firefox3 and smartbookmarks

how do i disable the smartbookmarks in firefox 3? Or at least keep them from showing up when i try to type something out in the address bar?


Caps lock, not necessary all the time.

I don't get exactly what your saying but try clearing your cache tools > clear private data (or control shift delete )

I think he is talking about the smart location bar. in ff3 , the url bar auto complete option shows matches from history and bookmarks folder . Similar behavior is in opera 9.5 also.
You can disable it from about:config . Set "browesr.urlbar.maxRichResults" to  -1 . But be on your own as this isn't recommended by firefox support .
