Hi Spirit, well there you have my tendency to be naive when it comes to this type of stuff, software, computer configurations etc., I dont

do enough research (not sure how to at times) but I know that I'd like to use software that can be completely trusted and safe. I'll have to

give what you've said some thought, a lot of thought. And most likely to replace what can't be trustworthy. Thanks for your input, it helps to

open 'my eyes' more.

Hi Spirit,

I've been looking for "ATF" cleaner and can't find it, on the site you're speaking of RegZor, is it under another name? clicked over ot Secure

OPs and don't see it there either.

Hey whatup!!

If you go to post 28 on this thread , you will see a blue link

that looks like this  . Click on this link and

you will be able to Download the Program "Directly"

from that link to your HDD or to your "Documents" folder

and from there just double click on it and the Program will

appear on your desktop. There is no installation. It is an .exe.

This is a Direct Download that I provided for you .This is what it will look like:

Ok whatup, Click on the "Select All" . The picture says "Unselect All"

But not when it is first initiated.

Then , click on the "Empty Selected"

"RejZor"s Site has the "Power Defragmenter GUI 2.0.125", which after scrolling down a bit

is the 1st Program in the "List" .

IF you are spending $19 + for SUPERAntiSpyware, it means you are getting the

"Professional" Version, which has "real-time" protection. Since it is advisable to have ONLY

1 antiSPYWARE program providing "real-time" protection, you MUST "disable", IF NOT

uninstall, Ad-Aware's "Ad-Watch", as the 2 will "conflict" IF BOTH are "active" . Since you are

going this far, might as well uninstall the entire Ad-Aware program as soon as this version

of SUPERAntiSpyware is fully activated .

thanks Spirit, I'll check the defragmentor out tomorrow. I've uninstalled Adaware completely, Supposedly it's a good software but

I've had problems with it off and on since I've first started using it.

I never even used Adwatch, can't tell you how many times I had to uninstall and reinstall when I did use it, I don't know if it's just me or if that software has bugs that aren't being addressed. But so far Im glad the SAS is loaded on my computer.

Hi Whatup,

SuperAntiSpyware should pick up alot more spyware than what you were used to with Adaware.

Avast is one of the top free AVs out there. If you can find a copy of AVG Free 7.5 (not 8) you might like better - I found AVG I could tweak to suck up less systems resources than Avast

I like SAS way more than Adaware, it's quicker and runs smooth. Adaware although not real often, would crash, hang, found myself having to uninstall and reinstall every so often. Highly rated but just didn't work too well for me. SAS is great.

I did have Avg 7.5 then upgraded to 8.0....didn't like 8.0 at all, so went back to 7.5. The subscription ended last month and was glad to give it up, it was good but it slowed my computer down alot. Im not tech enough to tweak (for the most part) so when I came to the board here got a lot of great advice some that I didn't realize would work out better for other software programs, like going with layered rather than 'suites'....I did try out Avast but had a firewall with it that wasn't working out well. Anyhow, wound up with AvireAV and SAS for spyware and Filesclab for a firewall. Filesclab is excellent, low low resource user and works like a charm and in harmony with everything else I have. Flashorn and MPH Enterprises were really helpful with getting me on the right track.

Thanks, and for the super help, couldn't have done it without ya! I did have questions about something else alltogether but at the moment I can't remember what it is, maybe something to do with memory (lol)....when I think of it I'll be back. What I do remember is that it's pretty technical. But the other things are working out fine.Talk to you soon.
