Has anyone use Sleipnir. It is a browser used in Japan that uses trident rendering engine.

But it can also switch to gecko. Is it fast? Has anyone used and tested it. I would like you comments. Thanks.

Hey silentcon!!

Yes, I have but it needs more work.

PLZ read my review of Sleipnir Browser , along with a few others.

If you have any other questions I'll be happy to try and help you out.

Hey silentcon!!

Yes, absolutely. This thing is lightning fast, and very stable but, as I mentioned in my review it still

needs some work. I am , once again, trying out Opera which ,in my opinion, is the fastest of the ones

you have mentioned but, again, is still a bit quirky. You will need to learn how to use and configure it

as not all of the niceties we know and love in Firefox are there by default. An example would be

a spell checker or a adblocker. Also , when trying to upload a screen shot in this forum, there is

a way to do it but, you have to know how which is what I am trying to learn this time around.

The browser itself is very stable and does have nice features and is probably safer because not

to many people are using it on a regular basis. So, the nastie makers have little interest in it.

PLZ if you use IE , do yourself a favor and use another one. Be it Firefox or Opera and get rid of those

Active X controls which are the main focus of hackers.

Hey silentcon!!

You seem to enjoy reviewing programs. If you have the time you should Document

your findings in the form of a document on this forum. The information you provide

would help other members and most likely answer some of their questions.

just a thought!

There is one that you did not mention , whether you did not try it or did not deem it

worthy of mention .

That would be the Flock Social Browser . It is a fun browser and is

based on the Firefox rendering engine. It is very stable, as expected, and has direct links to all

of those Social web sites. If you haven't tried it yet , give it a shot. Who knows you might just

enjoy this one.

OH, that's ok, I just thought I'd mention it.As for the Docs. well, you don't

have to be a Nerd. LOL! Just your experience is more than enough to

give other members a good heads up.

Yeah, I'm not much on Social things either but, in my position I have no choice.

anyways it was nice "chatting with you"
