That now gives you a decision to make about the T2984. Is it worth taking the PSU and heatsink/cooler off the working machine to see if that is the problem of the T2984. You might see what the cost of a new heatsink/cooler would be, you already know the cost of the PSU as the one you just got works for both.

I'm glad to report it is still working just fine! I just installed and updated new virus protection software, ran a spyware scan, and defraged the hard-drive with no problems what-so-ever.

As for the T2984, right now I might try tinkering around with it sometime down the line, but I've already removed the hdd, ram , and other peripherals and placed them in some of my other PC's. Right now it just dosn't seem that important.

Anyway's, I'd like to thank Coastie65, rgreen4,alchav21, JimH443, and everyone else for all the help.

Your help definitely wont go Unappreciated.

Glad it worked out for you. We are always happy to help. Sound like the T2984 has been thoroughly cannabalized. Donor machines sometimes come in handy.

You're welcome Penn919, as for the T2984, you have to start from the ground up starting with a new MB. Like you said, if you want to tinker you have something to play with. Talk to you soon.
