can't sign into You Tube within Firefox

This has never happened before, but I am no longer allowed to sign in under a user name on You Tube through Firefox. It keeps telling me "Invalid paremeters." There isn't any problems with Internet Explorer. Any one else notice this?

Re: can't sign into You Tube within Firefox

Hey techie!!

Have you tried Firefox in Safe Mode. NOT the PC's safe mode

but, Firefox's Safe Mode. Go to All Programs and in the Firefox Folder there

should be an option for Firefox SafeMode. If it works and you can

access YouTube, then it's one of your Plug-Ins or like Deadly said one

of your Add-Ons. Just make sure that your Firewall let's you use this

option as this will look like a new program to the Firewall.I had to give permission

for it to work.

BTW, mine works fine in both options , regular mode and safe mode. I think that

YouTube uses Flash Player. If it's disabled this might be it. Something to look in to.

I'm sure you've tried the obvious, but just in case... try clearing your cache and cookies in Firefox. Also, is JavaScript enabled for YouTube?

Re: can't sign into You Tube within Firefox
The problem may be with the YouTube site. On checking their site issues, I came across this...

"Invalid parameters" error during sign-up confirmation
Using the same browser to sign up and confirm your email may serve as a workaround until we resolve this issue.

Re: can't sign into You Tube within Firefox
im using firefox 3.0 and im not having problems with youtube and didnt even have the problem after the guy mentioned he had the problem. more then likely if ie was working and firefox wasnt, its an add-on or a bad tweak in firefox. remember also firefox 3 requires the new beta version of java not the latest official release. if you dont have it, weird things can happen. Ive had my browser freeze, weird log offs, random crashes and so forth. the moment i installed the new beta version of java these weird issues stopped.

Hi TFF
I m suggesting a workaround that may or may not work. Just go to igoogle.com and sign in there and from their personalized page , try to get into youtube. Post back how it goes.
