problem regarding batteries in my Kodak EasyShare C653 digital camera

Please, I have been having a problem regarding batteries in my Kodak EasyShare C653 digital camera.

Whenever I install new batteries in the camera, they seem to go dead within a day and a half after installation, even though the camera is switched off for the vast majority of this time. Could it be that the camera is draining battery power during this time, even when it is off?

Thanks in advance for any and all advice and help regarding this issue.

Hi UUUnicorn. Okay, the likelihood that the batteries are dying that quickly is very slim...unless the batteries were not new from the beginning. If the batteies were brand new, the camera itself may be defective. There should be no reason that an idle (off) camera would drain batteries. If the camera is under warranty, I would advise you to contact the manufacturer or the retailer.
