Trouble accessing installed software on Ubuntu Linux

I just downloaded the new Ubuntu 8.10 today and I'm quite new to this linux stuff

I downloaded Virtual Box from virtuabox.org. I installed it onto linux but now I can't find it in the Applications menu. Here is a screenshot of the installer package thing:

Could someone tell me where to find this...thanks!

I added it to the launcher panel. Right-click, pick 'Add to launcher panel', and the icon'll be there on the bar. You can make a desktop shortcut, too.

Right-click on the top-level menu (the part with the icon) and pick 'Edit Menus' to drag/drop things around in there.
